Carbon fiber fabric is a woventextile produced primarily fromprecursor fibers-eitherpolyacrylonitrile (PAN)-based orpitch-based. These precursorsundergo a series of processesincluding stabilization (or pre-oxidation) and carbonization tobe converted into carbon fibers.Subsequently, these carbonfibers are woven on industriallooms into fabrics with commonweave patterns such as plainweave or twill weave.
